Benefits of Online Shopping

Nowadays people live extremely busy lives. That is why they do not always find enough time to go to shopping malls and buy the things they want. This is the main factor that explains why online buying and selling has become an important part of many people's lives.

Let us examine top five arguments in favor of shopping online.

Better Prices
Usually when shopping online you notice that there are lower prices for the similar products than at a physical store. The reason number one is that many people visit shopping websites to find cheaper items. Knowing it the online business owners usually reduce their profit margin in order to get more customers and consequently more sales.
Another reason is because you can compare dozens of different websites to find the best price. You can do the same at a shopping mall, but it will take considerably more time.

Convenience
Online shoppers can choose any time of the day or night to go the website to search for the items they need as they store's door never close. Thus you save your time as you do not need to drive to a mall and you do not need to wait for the store to open. If you have an irregular work schedule, then shopping online can be the best option for you, that will enable you buying things without hurting your schedule.

Variety
Many physical stores have a limited product selection. In an online store you can find many products that are not always available in a physical one. It is also useful to read other shoppers'reviews on the websites.
When you shop online, you can shop from retailers in different parts of the the world without being limited by geographic area. These stores offer a wider selection of colors and sizes than you will find at your local shop.

Fewer Traps
A shopping mall is made to lure its visitors into buying more items. Usually they use posters, sales messages rich in colors and product placement to attract your attention. The most popular items are typically placed in the back of the store shelves because the business owner wants you to view all the products available at the store. Many people will be lured into buying additional items before they reach the thing they came in for.

Discreet Shopping
A real store makes it sometimes difficult to buy certain things. For instance, purchasing lingerie without getting a few awkward stare in almost impossible. An online shop offers you first of all privacy as people are not  looking at you while shopping.

Online shopping can be really a lot of fun and you forget endless parking lots, crowded stores and long lines.

Why Do So Few U.S. Businesses Sell Internationally?

World population has reached 7 billion and 320 million of them live in the USA. According to the latest statistics only 1 per cent of the American based companies are engaged in export business. This percentage is even lower than in any other developed country. Furthermore, the greater part of the US companies export only to one country. As we see there is a lot of untapped potential for American companies. The exporting experience of companies shows that selling or sourcing products worldwide helps businesses to grow faster with less risk.

Here are some tips to help you to expand your business globally:

1. Know your market: Before exporting your products to new markets it is important to determine the target persona for each country.Remember the golden rule: ''Each product has a specific market''. This information will help you to tailor your products so they will resonate with your potential clients in that specific market.

2 Create demand: To generate demand for your product requires much more than simply releasing it onto the global market. Each territory has a different media mix. Determine what is the best for your product and find the right expert to build the marketing strategy.

3. Expand the reach of your business by localizing your online presence: It is highly recommended to translate your entire website, including all its videos. Make sure your potential customers find and understand everything they need when visiting your website, to shop easily.

4. Master global shipping: There's lots of shipping companies around the world. They will help you with export and import procedures, custom clearance and export and import documents, in other words will all the regulations that could delay your shipment.

5. Stay agile and responsive to stay competitive: Once you get the formula right in a new market, you can try to duplicate your business success in other markets. But remember the cookie-cutter solution is not aplicable to every country and every product. This variability is part of what makes exporting so challenging and rewarding.

If you do your homework well going global could be one of the most profitable moves you've ever made. Otherwise, you may be overlooking increased sales, new experience and most importantly - higher profits.

Turkey's Antalya a Rising Star in Fresh Produce Exports

You might already know that Antalya is an incredibly popular holiday destination to thousands of tourists. But did you know that the city has become a rising star in fresh produce exports? In 2010 Turkey's Antalya joined "Billion Club" as the total value of exports reached $ 1 billion in agricultural exports. In 2013 the Mediterranean city's exports of fruits and vegetables increased by 12 percent. As we see that the city has given priority to agricultural development in the course of the recent years, and thus the city has been gradually climbing in the agriculture rankings.

Basing on these figures, today the city is at the top of Turkey's sector in citrus production and greenhouse cultivation primarily thanks to its huge potential, highly-qualified labor force and rich resources. As result, year by year citrus has been exported successfully to many countries of the world. The destination countries include: Russia, Germany and Ukraine. Recently, Turkey's neighbor Iraq is becoming one of the top export destinations for the production of Mediterranean province.

These export figures are achieved mainly because of increases in fruit and vegetable productions that constitute half of the city's total exports. Antalya exporters consider that the city can do even more, to make its name heard throughout the global exports.

The Government, through the ministry of Agriculture, is working on strategies for local producers to achieve further increases in exports of the region. The sector is flourishing with new investments. For example, in 2012 Antalya’s farmers received $40 million of state fund.

Taking into account the region's international experience in the tourism industry, it can easily adjust itself to new trends prevailing in the world of export.
Today Germany is Turkey’s largest export market . One of the country’s goals is to reach USD 500 billion in exports by the centenary of the foundation of the republic in 2023. For successful implementation of this strategy, Turkey has to increase its export output by 12% annually.
