centuries in the making, today’s U.S. rice industry is recognized
as an innovative, technologically advanced, and dependable supplier
of high-quality rice.
About half of the crop is exported to customers
around the world. Arkansas ranks first among the six major
rice-producing states, accounting for approximately 48 percent of the
U.S. rice production.
